reclaimed wood

Using reclaimed wood is one of the most environmentally preferable options for any number of applications.

Many projects can utilize wood reclaimed from old barns and other buildings, railroad track ties, dunnage, pallets, flooring and other post-consumer structures. The reclaimed wood is re-milled and finished to custom specifications.

Earthbilt works with numerous reclaimers to provide flooring, paneling, decking and other products from 100% post-consumer wood.

Species include beech, mixed hardwoods, heart pine, redwood, western red cedar and others.

Reclaimed woods can be highly finished or can be milled to provide as much “character” as the client desires.

Earthbilt’s reclaimed flooring was used throughout the Bright ’n Green building, one of the most sustainable buildings in New York City. BnG achieved Passive House designation and a perfect LEED score — higher than any other residential building in the world. Check it out here.

And Earthbilt also buys used wood. See the next page for details.
